Movies!
Here’s how it works: you copy the questions, answer them and post them to your own blog. Then you come back here, and in the comments, post the link to your blog post with your answers to this week’s questions. If you don’t have a blog of your own, just post your answers in the comments.
1. What is your favorite current movie?
The movie I’ve seen most recently that I just loved was Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug.
2. What is your all-time favorite movie?
It’s a tie between I love Dream for an Insomniac and The Last Unicorn
3. What was your favorite movie growing up?
There were a few: The Last Unicorn, Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, The Neverending Story, Rudolph (claymation)
4. Is there a movie(s) that you watch at a certain time(s) of the year every year?
No, but I did just buy the 40th anniversary edition of Rudolph, so I’d like to make a tradition to watch that every year around Christmas time
5. Do you like animated movies?
I do! I love Disney and Pixar movies, and a select few animes
6. What is your favorite genre of movie?
Action and epic fantasy
7. Do you like movies with sequels or multiple parts? If so, which ones are your favorite?
Depends on the movie. The Saw movies were great until the 5th one and then they got stupid. I love the Lord Of The Rings/Hobbit movies. I love the Harry Potter movies (however, the books were of course much better). I love the Underworld series. But some movies should just never ever have sequels…it ruins them.
8. What is your least favorite genre of movie?
Probably romantic movies, however there are some that I do like, but I’m very selective with them
9. What is the worst movie you have ever seen?
It was so bad, I blocked it from my memory. The worst movie I’ve seen recently was the Boxtrolls. It wasn’t a BAD movie, it just wasn’t what I expected it to be, so I was pretty disappointed in it.
10. Do you like to see movies in the theater or do you wait until they all come out on video?
It really depends on the movie. There are some that just *have* to be seen in the theater, but most can wait until they’re out on video.
Bonus Question: what do you like to snack on while watching a movie?
I love movie theater popcorn with LOADS of the liquid butter on it. It’s so bad in so many ways, but I love it so very much.

The only sequel movie I've ever liked -- Before Sunrise, and Before Sunset were a decade apart, but same characters (and the third one, Before Midnight, came out another decade later).
ReplyDeleteWe have to watch Rudolph every year! We have the DVD and make it a family night while decorating the Christmas tree!
