Weighed in this morning...2 days early due to it being the weigh in
day for the fitness challenge bimonthly weigh in. I only lost about 4 lbs over the last 2 months, all of
that in the last couple weeks as I had actually gained weight last month thanks
to laziness and overindulgence. Anyway, the
real victory is that I lost 2¼ inches between
my upper arm (3/4" lost), hips (1" lost), and thigh (1/2" lost). That’s the running right there! And the strength training. Between the two, I’ve put on muscle
and lost fat. There’s a
noticeable difference in my pictures I took today and the ones I took on December
1st. While I wish I had lost closer to 10
lbs over the last 2 months, I am in the 170's (WOOHOO!!!) for the first time in
over 8 years, so I’m happy. Also, this is
the fittest and healthiest I’ve been since I was in training in the army. Very proud of myself.
