Countdown + 9-11

Oops...forgot to post the countdown yesterday.  Anyway, down to just 94 days as of today!!!  I ran a 10 mile long run and it was an all around awesome run.  One of my best runs so far in the past 4 weeks since I started my marathon training.

On a more somber note, today is 9-11.  Do you remember where you were and what you were doing today 13 years ago?  I do.  I worked as an assistant general manager at a pizza restaurant and was about to walk out the door to go to work.  I was walking through the living room and my at-the-time boyfriend's brother's girlfriend was sitting on the floor about 2 feet from the TV.  I stopped to see what was so interesting and was frozen by what I saw.  I felt so detached and it felt so unreal.  Could something like that really be happening in America?!?!?!  I am a military veteran and am currently a first responder, so this is an emotional day for me.  Don't forget to thank and police officer, a firefighter, an EMT, or any one currently or formerly in the military if you run across them today.
